Rolling Stone received dozens of applications from aspiring young reporters, all hoping to join the team for six weeks in the lead up to Rolling Stone Weekend. Some had a keen interest in photography, others in writing, but all enthusiastically motivated as to why they should be chosen.

The Rolling Stone team debated at length and in the end settled on ten – the maximum number initially projected – for this first round. The following candidates will accompany the Rolling Stone team, the artists and the partners on the road to Rolling Stone Weekend:
