Local indie rock group Isochronous recently changed their name to ISO, Die Burger reported this morning. According to lead singer, Richard Brokensha, the decision to shorten the name was made to make it more accessible to fans and because Isochronous was too difficult to pronounce.
Their new album, Piece by Piece, will drop next week under the name ISO. According to Brokensha, Piece by Piece is aimed at the dance and party market, although there's also a few slower and more emotional tracks that will be reminiscent of the band's early work. "On Piece by Piece our old sound merges well with the new direction our band has taken," says Brokensha, who recorded, produced and mixed the album along with drummer Marko Benini.
