Welsh Metal-core band, Bullet for my Valentine, will be making their South African debut at Oppikoppi 18 Sweet/Thing on the weekend of 9 – 11 August.

A number of South African fans expressed their anger and distrust towards the band's appearance at this year's Oppikoppi after the band cancelled their appearance at the 2009 Coke Zero Fest due to studio commitments.

A commenter on Oppikoppi's Facebook page, Shawn Rowntree, said: "I see another Cokefest in the making." Commenter, Ruan Erasmus, said: "Imagine they really came". Another commenter, Gideon Lötz, said: "Wow, really? Giving a mediocre band a second chance to disappoint the barely interested South African crowds...?"

Bullet for my Valentine's additional South African dates will be confirmed shortly, according to festival organisers, Hilltoplive.
