Well… Awash with synths, phosphorescent with reverb-free electric guitar and coolly lit with occasional moon-on-water lapsteel reflections, this album gives the hip Doomers a run for their New Wave influences. Having no lyrics invites the listener to enter (quote) “a space … free of rational thought, where only our senses thrive”. Newage burble? Perhaps. But at times (“Hover”, “Merry Go Round”), drifting in the bass-propelled sonic slipstream of the soundscape, listening to pew-pew laser fx (“Wash”) does invite one to imagine a movie not yet made (well, maybe until Gravity was released).

Intimating the space both within and without, this is easy-listening for astronauts, or indeed any high-flyers.
