In the future Parow lives the life of a scumbag… but he’s here to save us
It’s the future and Jack Parow is here to save us – by travelling back in time from 2213 he warns us against buying into kak brands and music. He may be a rap god now, but in 2213 Parow lives the life of a scumbag, unable to get a job or do much else to impress his father.
In the future, everyone is either choking on the fumes of the flying-car epidemic, or getting skin cancer from the out-of-control UV rays (which explains Jack’s ridiculous hat). Corporations rule the earth. Everything from tequila to clothing is forced onto the population by faceless conglomerates. Parow knows better. He’d much rather trick you into buying those products with his catchy rhymes and lyrics.
This complicated narrative will be revealed in a series of online comic strips developed by DOJO 115. Over the next few weeks, we will discover why our children’s children will be living in steel caravans stacked a hundred miles in the sky and told what to do by holographic adverts – which is why we best pay heed to Parow’s warning instead.
