Actors make shot-for-shot re-creation of Kanye West’s video

Now that’s bromance: Just when it seemed as though James Franco couldn’t possibly squeeze anything more into his overbooked schedule, there he is, making out with a shirtless Seth Rogen on a motorcycle in “Bound 3,” their shot-for-shot re-creation of Kanye West’s “Bound 2” video.

West’s version, of course, featured his fiancée, Kim Kardashian, who has decidedly less body hair than Rogen (not a judgment, just an observation). Franco takes on the Kanye role here, lip-syncing West’s lyrics and imitating his arm movements and overall swagger. And Rogen looks positively serene as he nuzzles Franco’s neck against a backdrop of fast-moving clouds.

This latest clip is another in a long line of collaborations between the two: They came up together on the TV show Freaks and Geeks, and most recently starred in This Is the End, an apocalyptic comedy that also included Jonah Hill and Eastbound and Down star Danny McBride, among others. All four were the subject of a Rolling Stone cover story in June. Rogen also helped roast Franco for Comedy Central in September. “He’s tough to pin down,” Rogen cracked, “although I’ve heard many guys have been able to do it.”
