AC/DC-prank, ‘local vs. international’ festival acts and the essence of punk-rock

William Welfare and Anton Marshall get together on April Fool’s day to discuss the prank article about AC/DC heading to Africa and the emotional response Rolling Stone received from pissed-off readers.

They also chat about one of Marshall’s recent blog posts – “The Selling Points of South African Music Festivals are Skewed”.

Later in the episode Marshall visits English folk and punk singer Frank Turner at his hotel room in Cape Town for a pre-concert conversation about the essence of punk-rock, lyrical content and politics.
