A conversation with two members of the South African National Cannabis Working Group

On Saturday 3 May thousands of people who support the review and reform of the current cannabis laws are expected to gather in Cape Town for the annual Global Cannabis March. The march aims to celebrate global unity and support for the cannabis plant’s re-integration into society.

The director of the South African National Cannabis Working Group (SANCWG), Imiël Visser, and entrepreneur and CEO of Bongalong, Johannes Berkhout, recently joined me at RS headquarters to chat about this coming weekend’s march, what they aim to achieve and how the public can help their cause.

For more information about SANCWG’s cause you can download the Cannabis Position Paper of 2013, check out last year’s Cannabis March-video or join this weekend’s march.

This episode is brought to you by STRAB – The Subterranean Rhythm & Blues experience. This one of kind music festival in Mosambique will take place from 21 – 25 May 2014. Bookings are now open.
