Capetonian comedy and parody duo Derick Watts & The Sunday Blues [Gareth Allison and Nicholas Smal] dropped their latest song and video for “Pay Day” on Monday – precisely a week before…pay day.

In a recent podcast interview with Rolling Stone, the duo teased at the upcoming, original song and mentioned that the video would feature some “recognisable guest appearances.”

Featuring rapper Jack Parow, TV personality Jeannie D, former-Miss South Africa Cindy Nell and The Kiffness, the song follows the journey of two ordinary young men who splurge out and live large on pay day until their debit orders pull them back to reality and they have to figure out how to get by for the rest of the month.
